Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Prior experience in housekeeping or hospitality preferred
- Ability to work varied shifts including evenings
- Good communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively
- Punctual and reliable
Job Qualifications
- Ability to follow oral instructions and understand simple written instructions
- Experience in hospitality field, healthcare preferred
- High school diploma or GED or related experience preferred
- Good command of the English language
- Able to follow work schedule which may vary with assignments
Job Duties
- Perform housekeeping duties to maintain hospital facilities in a neat, orderly, and sanitary manner
- Clean and move furniture and equipment using proper cleaning supplies
- Follow safety practices including the use of wet floor signs and safe biohazard waste handling
- Change out full linen bags
- Respond to emergency situations involving patient or building safety according to hospital policies
- Prioritize workload efficiently and perform basic cleaning functions within patient settings
- Interact positively and constructively with staff and patients
