Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum age 18
  • Ability to clean and service assigned areas according to established methods and procedures with minimal supervision
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or have a signed exemption statement
  • Availability to work evening shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks related to housekeeping duties
  • Compliance with hospital safety and privacy policies

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum age 18 is required
  • Ability to clean and service assigned areas with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper handling, and safety procedures
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Familiarity with hospital safety and infection control standards
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or obtain an approved exemption

Job Duties

  • Perform various cleaning and housekeeping duties in assigned areas according to established methods and procedures
  • Maintain clean, orderly, and safe conditions in all assigned rooms and areas
  • Adhere to infection control and safety standards while using cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Report maintenance issues and safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of rooms for procedures or patient use
  • Support environmental services team members during busy periods or special projects
  • Follow hospital policies and procedures related to environmental cleanliness and patient privacy
