- experience with floor maintenance and cleaning
- knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols
- ability to work rotating shifts including every other weekend
- strong attention to detail in cleaning tasks
Job Duties
- interact warmly and professionally with patients, families, and visitors
- maintain cleanliness and upkeep of hospital flooring including carpets and hard surfaces
- perform stripping, scrubbing, refinishing, and buffing of floors
- shampoo and extract carpets and upholstery
- detail clean walls, doors, frames, and kick plates
- conduct terminal cleaning of operating rooms and surgical areas
- remove trash and soiled linens and deliver clean linens
- stock supplies
- perform daily maintenance of housekeeping equipment
- apply appropriate cleaning chemicals and follow safety guidelines
