Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to work full time evening shift from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
- availability to work Monday through Friday and every other weekend
- ability to use cleaning chemicals safely
- comfortable interacting with patients, families, and visitors
- reliable and punctual
- ability to perform physical tasks associated with hospital cleaning and maintenance
- willingness to comply with immunization requirements
- commitment to a drug-free workplace
Job Qualifications
- high school graduate or equivalent
Job Duties
- comfortably interact with patients, families, and visitors presenting with a warm smile and friendly demeanor
- maintain and clean hospital flooring including carpets, tile, and other hard surfaces
- strip, scrub, refinish, and buff hard floor surfaces
- shampoo and extract carpets and upholstery, vacuum, sweep, dust, and damp mop
- perform mat care and replacement where required
- detail clean walls, doors, frames, and kick plates
- perform terminal clean of operating rooms and other surgical areas
- maintain equipment daily
- remove trash and soiled linen and deliver clean linen where required
- stock supplies
- use appropriate chemicals following guidelines and perform tasks with proper training and tools
