Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to understand and speak English at a level sufficient for safe and efficient job performance
Physical ability to stand frequently and perform manual cleaning tasks including bending, stooping, and lifting
Availability to work Monday to Friday 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM with rotating weekends and holidays
Willingness to follow healthcare and safety standards
Experience with environmental services tasks preferred
Ability to complete assigned tasks reliably and report issues when necessary

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to understand and converse in English for safe job performance
Adherence to I C.A.R.E. standards
Manual dexterity and ability to stand for long periods
Ability to follow department guidelines for environmental services tasks
Knowledge of proper use of chemicals for cleaning tasks
Competence in cleaning emergency spills
Ability to assist nursing staff during community disaster
Service orientation and teamwork skills

Job Duties

Perform daily and discharge cleaning including bed-making, wall-spotting, toilet cleaning and dusting
Conduct OR terminal cleaning
Maintain a professional and safe work environment using caution signs
Complete unfinished tasks from previous shifts and report maintenance or assignment issues
Clean up organic waste as instructed
Install cubicle, shower and window curtains as needed
Disinfect and sanitize patient equipment upon discharge
