Job Duties

  • Cleans resident apartments as assigned
  • Cleans all common areas including halls, landings, stairs, activity areas, lobbies, elevators, and model units
  • Cleans vacant units as assigned
  • Ensures cleanliness of public restrooms
  • Maintains housekeeping and laundry carts
  • Washes and dries all community laundry using appropriate products
  • Follows posted work schedule and wears appropriate work attire
  • Adheres to emergency procedures including chemical misuse
  • Practices proper handling of biohazardous waste
  • Maintains clean laundry room and stores chemicals properly
  • Reports injuries to Plant Operations Director or Business Office Director
  • Communicates effectively with housekeeping supervisor and other team members
  • Advises supervisor or director when supplies need reordering
