Job Duties
- Cleans resident apartments as assigned
- cleans all common areas including halls, landings, stairs, activity areas, lobbies, elevators, and model units
- cleans vacant units as assigned
- ensures cleanliness of public restrooms
- maintains housekeeping and laundry carts
- washes and dries all community laundry using appropriate products
- follows posted work schedule and arrives on time
- follows emergency procedures including chemical misuse
- handles biohazardous waste properly
- maintains a clean laundry room and stores chemicals correctly
- reports on-the-job injuries
- communicates effectively with housekeeping supervisor and plant operations director
- advises on supply needs
