Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED
relevant housekeeping experience preferred
ability to work full-time
physical ability to perform cleaning duties including lifting and standing
good communication skills
punctuality and reliability
ability to follow safety and emergency procedures

Job Qualifications

High school diploma preferred or GED accepted
ability to handle multiple priorities
organizational and time management skills
demonstrates good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills
physically able to bend and reach
physically able to push, pull, and lift up to 40-50 pounds
physically able to stand for extended periods

Job Duties

Cleans resident apartments as assigned
cleans all common areas including halls, landings, stairs, activity areas, lobbies, elevators, and model units
cleans vacant units as assigned
ensures cleanliness of public restrooms
maintains housekeeping and laundry carts
washes and dries community laundry using appropriate products
follows posted work schedule and arrives on time
follows emergency procedures including chemical misuse
understands proper handling of biohazardous waste
maintains a clean laundry room and proper storage of chemicals
reports on-the-job injuries to appropriate directors
communicates effectively with housekeeping supervisor, plant operations director, and team members
advises supervisor or director when supplies need reorder
