Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred or GED accepted
- previous housekeeping experience recommended
- ability to follow safety procedures and emergency protocols
- strong communication skills
- physical ability to perform cleaning duties including lifting and standing for long periods
- willingness to work full-time
- punctuality and dependability

- good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills
- physically able to bend and reach
- physically able to push, pull, and lift up to 40-50 pounds if necessary
- physically able to stand for extended periods
Job Duties
- Cleans resident apartments as assigned
- cleans all common areas including halls, landings, stairs, activity areas, lobbies, elevators, and model units
- cleans vacant units as assigned
- ensures cleanliness of public restrooms
- maintains housekeeping and laundry carts
- washes and dries all community laundry using appropriate products
- follows posted work schedule and arrives on time
- follows all emergency procedures including chemical misuse
- understands proper handling of biohazardous waste
- maintains clean laundry room and stores chemicals properly
- reports on-the-job injuries to supervisors
- communicates effectively with housekeeping supervisor, plant operations director, and team members
- advises supervisors when supplies need reorder
