Job Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Ability to work part-time with shift availability from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks that require bending lifting and standing
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow safety protocols and handle cleaning chemicals appropriately
- Reliable and punctual
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting bending and standing for extended periods
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is a plus
Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms according to hotel standards including making beds cleaning bathrooms dusting vacuuming and replenishing amenities
- Ensure all rooms are properly stocked with necessary supplies such as towels toiletries and coffee tea supplies
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department for prompt resolution
- Clean and maintain common areas of the hotel including hallways lobbies elevators and public restrooms
- Ensure common areas are always tidy clean and welcoming to guests
- Collect sort and transport linens and towels to the laundry area
- Ensure an adequate supply of clean linens and towels is always available
- Respond to guest requests and inquiries promptly and courteously
- Provide assistance to guests as needed to enhance their stay
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and according to instructions
- Collaborate with other housekeeping team members to ensure all rooms and common areas are cleaned in a timely manner
- Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned by the housekeeping supervisor
