Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with cleaning
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift moderate weight
- Good interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of cleaning materials and equipment

- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to follow instructions and hotel policies
- Good communication skills
Job Duties
- Change bed linen daily
- Vacuum carpeting
- Dust all furniture including picture frames, bed frames, lamps, TVs, and dressers
- Remove fingerprints and smudges from mirrors, shiny surfaces, and windows
- Thoroughly clean bathroom area including shower stall, sink, floor, and toilet
- Ensure the standard room set-up is complied with
- Report all damage found in a room immediately
- Report all missing items in room immediately
- Report personal guest items found in vacant rooms to Head Housekeeper or Facilities Manager
- Turn in all lost and found items immediately
- Notify Head Housekeeper or Facilities Manager of rollaways or cribs in rooms for pick-up and storage
- Take responsibility for pass key and ensure it is turned in daily
- Report immediately to Head Housekeeper or Facilities Manager any unusual situations including no luggage, no service needed, sleep outs, extra guests
- Shut off all lights, TVs, and air conditioners when leaving room
- Assist housekeeper in additional cleaning chores
- Maintain and stock housekeeping carts
- Carry trash to dumpsters as required
- Log maintenance issues on housekeeping sheet for each room
- Deep clean rooms with Head Housekeeper and maintenance
- Assist Head Housekeeper with work related issues
- Follow all procedures as dictated by hotel franchise
- Adhere to all training requirements dictated by management and hotel franchise
