Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Relevant work experience preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
- Ability to operate heavy custodial equipment including wand extractor, buffer, chariot extractor, chariot vacuum, burnisher, vacuum backpack, and high lift/scissor lift
- Physical ability to perform duties involving balancing, climbing, bending, crawling, stooping, lifting, and repetitive hand use
- Willingness to work odd hours, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to maintain professional and courteous demeanor with coworkers and guests
Job Qualifications

- Ability to operate wand extractor, buffer, chariot extractor, chariot vacuum, burnisher, vacuum backpack, and high lift/scissor lift (manual and electric)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain punctual attendance
Job Duties
- Perform heavy duty custodial duties such as high dusting, vacuuming, scrubbing, mopping, disposing of trash, power washing restrooms, stripping, waxing and buffing floors, cleaning windows, mirrors, walls, doors, carpet, upholstery, and furnishings
- Comply with custodial department standard operating procedures
- Maintain preventative maintenance and cleanliness of custodial equipment
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment by being a team player
- Build relationships and loyalty with guests through sincere and meaningful interactions
- Provide accurate directions and information about services, amenities, promotions, and special events
- Maintain professional working relationships with Ellis Park personnel and the general public
