Job Requirements
- No previous experience required on-the-job training provided
- ability to follow infection control standards
- capability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies
- physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including moving furniture
- willingness to work in a healthcare environment with residents and staff
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience with healthcare housekeeping or environmental services preferred
Job Duties
- Sweeps damp mops and wet mops tile floors
- vacuum carpets as applicable
- empties trash cans cleans exterior and interior replaces liners
- cleans bathroom sinks fixtures and toilets
- cleans glass surfaces like mirrors pictures and windows
- cleans behind and underneath furnishings
- follows infection control standards while performing cleaning
