Job Requirements

- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Willingness to follow infection control and safety guidelines

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience with healthcare housekeeping or environmental services preferred
- Ability to follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Job Duties
- Sweeps, damp mops, and wet mops tile floors
- May occasionally spray buff, strip, or wax floors following center procedures
- Vacuums carpeted rooms as applicable
- Empties and cleans trash cans, replaces liners
- Cleans bathroom sinks, fixtures, and toilets
- Cleans glass surfaces such as mirrors, pictures, and windows
- Cleans behind and underneath furnishings
- Follows infection control standards while performing cleaning
- Prevents or removes wax and dirt buildup in corners, baseboards, and doorways
- Changes and re-hangs privacy curtains and draperies using a ladder
- Dusts or damp cleans surfaces in patient or resident rooms including furniture and bed frames
- Moves furniture to clean behind and underneath according to procedures
- Turns bed mattresses after cleaning
