Job Requirements

- ability to follow center procedures and safety protocols
- physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including mopping and moving furniture
- willingness to work flexible hours as needed
- good communication skills to coordinate with team members
- commitment to maintaining a safe and sanitary environment
- adherence to infection control standards
Job Qualifications
- No previous experience required on-the-job training provided
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience with healthcare housekeeping or environmental services preferred
- ability to follow center procedures and safety protocols
- strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
Job Duties
- Sweeps damp mops and wet mops tile floors
- vacuums carpeted rooms as applicable
- empties trash cans cleans exterior cleans interior and replaces with a clean can liner
- cleans bathroom sinks fixtures and toilets following center procedures
- cleans glass surfaces such as mirrors pictures and windows
- cleans behind and underneath furnishings
- follows infection control standards while performing cleaning
- prevents removes wax dirt buildup in corners around baseboards and in doorways
- changes soiled privacy curtains and draperies for the outside windows as needed
- removes and re-hangs curtains and draperies for the outside windows using a ladder
- dust damp cleans surfaces in patient resident rooms furniture bed frames windowsills etc following center procedure including the use of wet floor signs
- moves furniture to clean behind underneath according to center procedures
- turns bed mattresses after cleaning
