Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience with healthcare housekeeping or environmental services preferred
Job Duties
- Sweeps, damp mops, and wet mops tile floors
- Vacuums carpeted rooms as applicable
- Empties trash cans, cleans exterior, cleans interior, and replaces liners
- Cleans bathroom sinks, fixtures, and toilets following center procedures
- Cleans glass surfaces such as mirrors, pictures, and windows
- Cleans behind and underneath furnishings
- Follows infection control standards while performing cleaning
- Prevents and removes wax and dirt buildup in corners, baseboards, and doorways
- Changes soiled privacy curtains and draperies as needed
- Removes and re-hangs curtains and draperies using a ladder
- Dusts and damp cleans surfaces in patient rooms including furniture and windowsills
- Moves furniture to clean behind and underneath according to procedures
- Turns bed mattresses after cleaning
