Job Duties

  • perform planned preventive maintenance in guest rooms meeting rooms and public spaces
  • inspect and turn mattresses assemble bed frames
  • vacuum behind and under furniture
  • remove carpet and upholstery stains
  • dust and touch up paint and furniture
  • ensure all fixtures and appliances are present and working properly
  • replace lighting fixtures and inspect grout and caulking
  • maintain repair and clean all guest rooms according to general preventive maintenance procedures
  • perform miscellaneous minor repairs such as tightening loose toilet seats replacing bulbs and filling holes in walls
  • perform general cleaning of all guest room surfaces including bathtubs tiles floors walls windows and mirrors
  • immediately report serious maintenance problems unusual findings or safety hazards to manager or supervisor
  • comply with all company safety policies and procedures participate in safety trainings and obtain certifications
  • maintain a clean and professional appearance and uphold confidentiality
  • engage with guests according to company standards anticipate their service needs and fulfill them
  • develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and support team goals
  • perform physically demanding tasks including reaching bending twisting lifting and moving up to 50 pounds independently assist with heavier objects when necessary
  • stand sit or walk for long periods during shifts
  • execute other reasonable duties as assigned
