Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to three months of related experience and/or training
- Ability to operate specialized floor care equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to follow hospital cleaning protocols and safety procedures
Job Qualifications
- One to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous hospital experience preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Performs cleaning and maintenance of all floors including carpets, tile, concrete and brick flooring
- Performs restoration functions on highly soiled or worn areas
- Performs assigned tasks in a professional manner to uphold the Environmental Services Department's integrity
- Operates and maintains all floor care equipment correctly and safely
- Participates in continuous quality improvement activities within the department
