Job Requirements
- High school graduation or G.E.D. required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to housekeeping
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to follow safety protocols
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to work Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Job Qualifications
- High school graduation or G.E.D.
- Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
- Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Good physical stamina and ability to move furniture
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Sweeps, mops and vacuums floors
- May shampoo carpets
- Dusts window sills, blinds, floors and furniture
- Washes walls, ceilings and inside windows by hand using water, cleaning solutions, sponge and cloths
- Scours and polishes sinks, tubs, showers, toilets, mirrors, ovens, stoves and similar equipment
- Distributes supplies at clinic and apartments such as soap, towels, toilet paper, cleaning supplies and other dispensable items
- Moves furniture to clean rooms and areas
- Gathers and disposes of trash, washes waste baskets and large refuse containers, and relines with paper or plastic bags
