Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate's degree in related field preferred
- Two years healthcare or education experience preferred
- Driver's License Class C and insurable
- CSO - Commissioned Security Officer Texas Private Security Level 2 preferred
- CSO - Commissioned Security Officer Texas level 3 within 60 days of hire required
- TASER Certification within 60 days of hire required
- Annual recertification for TASER required
- CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training upon hire
- ACPI - Advanced Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 6 months of hire or within 12 months if CPI within 30 days of hire
- Must successfully complete a psychological evaluation

- Associate's degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Security or closely related field preferred
- Two years healthcare or education experience preferred
- CSO - Commissioned Security Officer Texas Private Security Level 3 within 60 days of hire required
- TASER Certification within 60 days of hire required and annual recertification required
- CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training upon hire

Job Duties
- Patrols buildings and grounds for unlocked secured areas for after hour entry
- Locks and opens doors according to schedules
- Provides individual and group escorts to and from parking areas
- Identifies and removes unauthorized individuals from property
- Enforces campus parking policies and cites violations
- Pursues and detains persons involved in criminal activity
- Fills out incident and offense report forms and composes narratives
- Gives directions to areas of facility
- Interacts with police, fire personnel, patients, visitors, and staff
- Patrols interior and perimeter of campus and parking
