Job Requirements
- No previous cleaning experience required
- Requires knowledge, skill and mental ability equivalent to completion of 2 years of high school
- Ability to walk and stand for entire shift
- Ability to push, vacuum, reach, stretch, and bend during daily work
- Ability to lift 25 to 35 pounds intermittently during work
- Must be able to work weekends as required
- Report to executive housekeeper or assistant general manager
- Maintain positive and cooperative working relationships with all hotel departments
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and supplies
- Ability to work independently and follow verbal and written instructions
- Positive and solution-oriented attitude
- Dedication to excellent customer service
- Equivalent to completion of two years of high school education
- Previous cleaning experience is useful but not required
Job Duties
- Maintain a clean and positive environment for guests and team members
- Ensure exceptional and positive experiences for diverse team members and guests
- Perform various hotel cleaning services to keep guest rooms clean according to established standards
- Visually inspect rooms to help identify maintenance needs
- Assist guests by providing linens, towels, amenities, or information upon request
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences with friendly and courteous service and a service plus attitude
- Contribute to maintaining a positive work environment for team members and guests
