Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of housekeeping experience preferred
- availability to work full-time or part-time schedules
- flexibility to work rotating weekends
- ability to perform light cleaning duties
- compliance with Florida Level 2 background screening if applicable
- ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous housekeeping experience preferred
- strong attention to detail
- good communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- customer service orientation
- ability to handle physical demands of cleaning work
Job Duties
- Provides quality customer service by giving one-on-one attention to detail
- sweeps, scrubs, mops, and polishes floors
- vacuums carpets, rugs, and draperies
- shampoos carpets, rugs, and upholstery
- dusts and polishes furniture and fittings
- cleans metal fixtures and fittings
- empties and cleans trash containers
- disposes of trash in a sanitary manner
- cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers
- wipes down glass surfaces
- makes up beds and changes linens as required
- realigns furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout
- responds to guest queries and requests
- responds to calls for housekeeping issues such as spills and broken glasses
- contributes to team efforts and exhibits professionalism with customers and colleagues
- performs other duties as assigned
