Job Requirements
- prior housekeeping experience preferred
- ability to perform light cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting
- reliable and punctual
- ability to work full-time or part-time with flexible schedule including rotating weekends
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- capable of standing, bending and lifting for extended periods
- drug-free workplace compliance
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior housekeeping experience preferred
- ability to perform cleaning duties efficiently and thoroughly
- strong attention to detail
- excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- good physical stamina and ability to handle repetitive tasks
- basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols
Job Duties
- provides quality customer service by giving one-on-one attention to detail
- sweeps, scrubs, mops and polishes floors
- vacuums carpets, rugs and draperies
- shampoos carpets, rugs and upholstery
- dusts and polishes furniture and fittings
- cleans metal fixtures and fittings
- empties and cleans trash containers
- disposes of trash in a sanitary manner
- cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers
- wipes down glass surfaces
- makes up beds and changes linens as required
- realigns furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout
- responds to guest queries and requests
- responds to calls for housekeeping problems such as spills and broken glasses
- contributes to team efforts
- exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow associates and others
- performs other duties as assigned
