Job Requirements

  • Housekeeper must have a thorough understanding of the principles of safe effective housekeeping practices within the state of employment
  • have the ability to be a team player to partner with other departments
  • a high school diploma or GED is preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Maintain cleaning schedules for assigned area
  • coordinating routine and terminal isolation procedures with nursing services
  • maintain knowledge of safety regulations, policies and procedures and follow established safety procedures and precautions
  • report all unsafe or hazardous conditions, defective equipment to supervisor immediately
  • honor residents' personal and property rights
  • file complaints or grievances with supervisor in a timely fashion
