Job Requirements
- high school graduate or equivalent preferred
- ability to operate cleaning equipment after training
- physical ability to perform heavy work including lifting and prolonged standing
- knowledge of cleaning supplies and chemicals
- willingness to work day shift including weekends and holidays
- ability to follow safety and regulatory compliance
- participation in orientation and continuing education

- willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime
Job Duties
- perform all cleaning functions in assigned areas to maintain sanitary conditions
- focus on cleaning patient care, non-patient care, and common areas
- operate various types of cleaning equipment including automatic floor machines, burnishers, scrubbers, and carpet cleaning equipment
- utilize cleaning supplies and chemicals proficiently
- assist in achieving overall division and hospital goals by performing other assigned duties
- comply with safety and regulatory standards
- work rotating schedules, holidays, and overtime as needed
