Job Requirements
- high school graduate or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in cleaning or janitorial work preferred
- ability to operate cleaning machines and use cleaning chemicals safely
- physical ability to perform heavy work including lifting, bending, stooping and prolonged walking and standing
- availability to work day shifts including weekends and holidays
- ability to follow safety protocols and procedures
- willingness to work overtime and rotating schedules if required

Job Duties
- perform all cleaning functions in assigned areas to maintain sanitary conditions
- operate various cleaning equipment including automatic floor machines, burnishers, scrubbers and carpet cleaning equipment
- utilize cleaning supplies and chemicals safely and effectively
- assist in achieving overall division and hospital goals by performing other duties as assigned
- ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- participate in orientation and continuing education to maintain skills
- work flexible shifts including weekends, holidays, overtime and rotating schedules
