Job Requirements
- ged or high school diploma
- ability to work full time 40 hours per week
- willingness to work 2nd shift hours from 3 pm to 11:30 pm
- availability to work rotating weekends and holidays
- capacity to handle physical workload
- knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
- ability to pass background check and drug screening
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or ged
- prior housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
- ability to follow instructions and safety protocols
- physical stamina to perform cleaning duties
- attention to detail
- good communication skills
- ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Job Duties
- perform terminal cleaning of rooms after patient discharge
- clean nursing units, surgical areas, offices, labs, waiting areas and public restrooms
- make beds
- empty trash
- wipe equipment
- clean furniture
- polish floors
- vacuum carpets
- clean restrooms
- launder hospital linen
- conduct daily inspection and inventory of housekeeping equipment
- follow safety protocols in handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
- maintain a clean and safe hospital environment
