Job Requirements
- GED or high school diploma
- ability to work 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM shift including rotating weekends and holidays
- physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks
- ability to follow safety and chemical handling protocols
- reliability and punctuality
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- ability to follow cleaning protocols and safety procedures
- training in use of cleaning chemicals
- experience in healthcare or hospital cleaning preferred
- physical ability to perform cleaning duties
- good communication skills
Job Duties
- Perform terminal cleaning of patient rooms after discharge
- clean nursing units, surgical areas, offices, labs, waiting areas and public restrooms
- make beds and empty trash
- wipe equipment and clean furniture
- polish floors and vacuum carpets
- clean restrooms and launder hospital linen
- conduct daily inspection and inventory of housekeeping equipment
