Job Requirements
- GED or high school diploma
- ability to work 40 hours per week
- availability to work 2nd shift including weekends and holidays
- ability to perform physical tasks associated with cleaning duties
- willingness to undergo training on cleaning chemicals and safety
- ability to follow detailed instructions
Job Qualifications
- GED or high school diploma
- ability to follow safety protocols and cleaning procedures
- experience in cleaning or housekeeping preferred
- ability to work 2nd shift hours including weekends and holidays
- good communication skills
Job Duties
- Perform terminal cleaning of patient rooms after discharge
- clean nursing units, surgical areas, offices, labs, waiting areas and public restrooms
- make beds and empty trash
- wipe down equipment and clean furniture
- polish floors and vacuum carpets
- clean restrooms and launder hospital linen
- inspect and inventory housekeeping equipment daily
