Job Requirements
- GED or high school diploma
- Ability to work full time including 7:00AM - 3:30PM shift
- Willingness to work alternating weekends and holidays
- Ability to handle physical demands of housekeeping work
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
Job Qualifications
- GED or high school diploma
- Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial services preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper usage
- Ability to follow safety and infection control protocols
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Perform terminal cleaning of rooms after patient discharge
- Clean nursing units, surgical areas, offices, labs, waiting areas, and public restrooms
- Make beds and empty trash
- Wipe equipment and clean furniture
- Polish floors and vacuum carpets
- Clean restrooms and launder hospital linen
- Conduct daily inspection and inventory of housekeeping equipment
