The Carolina Center for Behavioral Health is a prominent 156-bed private behavioral health system situated on 13 acres in the Greenville, South Carolina area. This well-established facility specializes in comprehensive psychiatric programs and substance abuse treatments, including detoxification and rehabilitation services. Serving a broad region that includes Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, and parts of western North Carolina, the center offers varied levels of care to meet the diverse needs of its patients. These programs include inpatient care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient treatment, allowing the center to address the severity of each patient's condition thoroughly and with appropriate medical oversight.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- zero to one year of experience required
- two years of related experience preferred
- experience with psychiatric patient care techniques preferred
- willingness to work flexible hours and overtime
- ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals and hazardous waste
- physical ability to perform housekeeping duties
- reliable and punctual
- ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Clean floors
- dust surfaces
- remove trash
- replace toilet paper and paper towels in patient and non-patient areas
- remove and replace soiled linens and towels from designated patient areas
- clean patient mattress and make up bed after patient discharge
- remove hazardous waste and prepare it for shipping
- maintain facility and furnishings in a clean and orderly fashion
