Job Requirements
- Must successfully pass mandated criminal background checks
- must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- must be able to pass pre-employment reference checks
- must provide official grade transcripts of education level
- must provide a copy of own social security card for W-4 documentation
- must provide applicable documentation for I-9 to establish identity and work authorization in the US
- must have valid driver’s license, personal automobile liability insurance, and acceptable driving record if required to drive
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- understanding of English language including spelling, grammar, and composition rules
- service orientation with active help for people
- coordination skills to adjust actions in relation to others
- physical flexibility to bend, stretch, twist, or reach
- problem sensitivity to identify when something is wrong
Job Duties
- Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts
- disinfect equipment and supplies using germicides or steam-operated sterilizers
- clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, offices, restrooms, elevators, stairways, and other work areas to meet health standards
- empty wastebaskets and transport trash to disposal areas
- observe precautions to protect resident property and report damage, theft, and found articles
- replenish supplies such as linens and bathroom items
- clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies using vacuum cleaners and shampooers
