Job Requirements
- Prior housekeeping experience preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks
- Ability to work full-time schedule including 2nd shift and rotating weekends
- Basic communication skills
- Must be able to work in a healthcare environment
- Willingness to adhere to company safety and hygiene policies
- Must be able to respond promptly to housekeeping issues
- Must be able to stand, bend, and lift as required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Customer service orientation
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends
- Reliability and punctuality
Job Duties
- Provide quality customer service by paying close attention to detail
- Sweep, scrub, mop and polish floors
- Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies
- Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery
- Dust and polish furniture and fittings
- Clean metal fixtures and fittings
- Empty and clean trash containers
- Dispose of trash in a sanitary manner
- Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers
- Wipe down glass surfaces
- Make up beds and change linens as required
- Realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout
- Respond to guest queries and requests
- Respond to calls for housekeeping problems such as spills and broken glasses
- Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow associates, and others
- Perform other duties as assigned
