The Full-Time Housekeeper role at RLC goes beyond routine cleaning duties. This position is key to maintaining a comfortable, welcoming, and home-like environment for our residents. The housekeeper plays a critical role in ensuring that both individual apartments and community spaces are spotless and well-kept. More than just cleaning, the role involves building genuine connections with residents, guests, and fellow team members, enriching their living experience through attentive care and service. As a Housekeeper, you will learn new residents' cleaning preferences and tailor your tasks to meet their needs, contributing to a personalized and supportive community atmosphere.

Working Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, the housekeeper's responsibilities cover an array of cleaning and maintenance tasks. These include vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, changing linens, emptying trash, and seasonal duties such as window and patio cleaning and HVAC filter changes. The role also demands deep cleaning after residents move out, preparing vacant apartments for new arrivals, and maintaining model apartments and guest suites. Meticulous care of housekeeping carts, closets, and storage areas while adhering to safety guidelines and using approved cleaning products is essential. This position offers competitive compensation in the range of 14.00 to 16.50 dollars per hour and includes a generous $341 benefit stipend per pay period towards health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, and more.   • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to work Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm
  • Experience in housekeeping in a hospitality, commercial or residential setting preferred
  • Ability to read, speak and understand basic English

Job Duties

  • Welcome new residents and learn their cleaning preferences
  • Adjust apartment cleaning to meet individual needs and expectations
  • Clean residents' apartments and community spaces on a regular schedule including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, kitchens, bathrooms, changing linens, emptying trash
  • Perform deep cleaning of apartments after residents move out and prepare vacant apartments
  • Clean and prepare model apartments and guest suites by vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing, washing linens, restocking supplies, checking HVAC areas
  • Keep common areas clean, safe, and welcoming
  • Maintain housekeeping carts, closets, and storage areas in a clean and organized way
  • Follow PPE safety guidelines and use only approved cleaning products
  • Wash, dry, and care for housekeeping linens in a timely manner
