Job Requirements
- Must successfully pass the mandated criminal background checks
- must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- must be able to pass the pre-employment reference checks
- must be able to provide official grade transcripts of the education level provided on the employment application
- must be able to provide a copy of his/her own social security card for W-4 documentation
- must be able to provide applicable documentation(s) for I-9 to establish identity and authorization to work in the U.S.
- must have valid driver’s license, personal automobile liability insurance, and acceptable driving record if required to drive
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- ability to assess customer needs and meet quality standards for services
- knowledge of English language structure, composition, and grammar
- service orientation with a proactive approach to helping people
- coordination skills to adjust actions relative to others
- physical flexibility to bend, stretch, twist, or reach
- problem sensitivity to identify potential issues
- valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record if driving is required
Job Duties
- Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts
- disinfect equipment and supplies using germicides or steam-operated sterilizers
- clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, offices, restrooms, elevators, stairways, and other work areas so that health standards are met
- empty wastebaskets and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas
- observe precautions required to protect resident property and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors
- replenish supplies such as linens and bathroom items
- clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies using vacuum cleaners and shampooers
- dust and polish furniture and equipment
- keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean and tidy
- wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary
- adhere to The Estates at Carpenters' policies and procedures, including those covering privacy and security in compliance with HIPAA regulations, and codes of conduct
- maintain confidentiality and respect resident’s privacy at all times
