This well-established center specializes in a variety of healthcare services including skilled nursing care, post-acute medical and rehabilitation care, hospice, and respite care. Operating as a 120-bed facility with a dedicated 30-bed post-acute rehabilitation unit, Avon Health Center is committed to providing high-quality care for its residents. Job Requirements
- must be able to work 40 hours per week from 7 am to 3 pm
- must be available to work every other weekend and holiday
- must be able to speak read and understand English
- must be reliable and able to work during inclement weather and holidays
- must have attention to detail
- must be willing to occasionally assist in laundry
- must demonstrate a desire to work in a senior resident community
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- ability to follow instructions and maintain high standards of cleanliness
- capacity to work independently and as part of a team
- good communication skills in English
- willingness to work weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- clean all areas of assigned wing or section including resident rooms and bathrooms
- assist with laundry duties including sorting soiled linens washing drying and folding linen
- maintain attention to detail to ensure a clean and sanitary environment
- work effectively as part of a team and independently
- communicate clearly in English to ensure resident care documentation and safety
- work every other weekend and holiday
- ensure reliability and punctuality given 24-7 facility operation
