Job Requirements
- Age 18 or over with proper work authorization
- High school diploma or GED
- Background clearances as required by government regulations
- Completion of health screening with negative TB test within last 6 months
- Ability to perform physical demands including lifting over 40 pounds, standing, bending, and repetitive motion
- Must be mobile and able to use cleaning equipment
- Must comply with all applicable laws and regulations including HIPAA and resident rights
- Ability to work full-time schedule Tuesdays through Saturdays
- Ability to consistently follow safety and PPE protocols
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior housekeeping experience preferred but not required
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to interact effectively with people of different ages and backgrounds
- Demonstrated superior customer service skills
- Ability to use standard cleaning equipment
- Understanding of safety and chemical handling procedures
Job Duties
- Clean all resident apartments, common areas and offices of the property using appropriate cleaning techniques
- Ensure that all caution/safety signs are properly set up and removed after tasks
- Report any health, safety or sanitation concerns and maintenance issues to supervisors
- Follow work and cleaning schedules consistently
- Monitor and remove trash from inside community areas
- Keep work areas free of hazardous objects and store equipment safely
- Use proper personal protective equipment and follow safety protocols when handling chemicals
- Assist in marketing the community by maintaining a professional image
- Encourage teamwork and open communication with co-workers
- Display tact and friendliness when interacting with residents, families, and guests
- Perform additional duties as assigned by directors
