Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior housekeeping experience preferred
  • Ability to understand verbal and written instructions
  • Capacity to complete assignments thoroughly and on time
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Polite and courteous behavior
  • Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, grasp, push and pull for extended periods
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs and carry heavy objects up to 20 feet
  • Must wear designated uniform during work hours
  • Maintain good personal hygiene
  • Willing to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Clean common living areas and resident apartments
  • Oversee cleaning of the entire facility with emphasis on common areas and apartment bathrooms
  • Complete maintenance request reports when needed
  • Report damage or deterioration to housekeeping supervisor
  • Operate laundry equipment when needed
  • Use only approved cleaning products and ensure proper storage
  • Clean office areas, dust window blinds, furniture, and bookshelves
  • Vacuum common areas and resident apartments
  • Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality
  • Attend in-services and staff meetings
  • Clean apartments at resident move-out
  • Follow all policies regarding resident information release
