Job Requirements
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred
- Willingness to train
- Ability to work full time Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
- Ability to perform light physical cleaning duties
- Ability to interact professionally with patients, visitors, and staff
- Ability to follow company policies and safety guidelines
- Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required
- Ability to pay attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work Monday through Friday on a full-time schedule
- Willingness to learn and accept training
- Ability to perform light physical tasks
- Ability to follow safety procedures
Job Duties
- Provide quality customer service by paying attention to detail
- Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors
- Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies
- Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery
- Dust and polish furniture and fittings
- Clean metal fixtures and fittings
- Empty and clean trash containers
- Dispose of trash in a sanitary manner
- Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers
- Wipe down glass surfaces
- Make beds and change linens as required
- Realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout
- Respond to guest queries and requests
- Respond to calls for housekeeping problems such as spills and broken glass
- Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism
- Perform other duties as assigned
