Job Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and use hands frequently
- occasionally sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch
- lift up to 50 pounds and carry up to 25 pounds
- specific vision abilities required include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, as well as depth perception
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous housekeeping experience preferred
- current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification preferred
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- strong problem-solving and time management skills
- ability to handle crisis or risk situations calmly and appropriately
Job Duties
- Clean and replace linens in client bedrooms following discharge
- maintain clean and stocked bathrooms with linens, toiletries, and supplies
- empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- complete daily work assignments using checklists to ensure thoroughness
- use appropriate cleaning supplies and chemicals in line with procedures
- follow safety and infection control practices, including hand hygiene and precautions
- maintain high standards of cleanliness in all assigned areas
- perform other related duties as assigned
