High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills

Job Duties

Perform general housekeeping tasks in shelter residential units
Clean and maintain all common areas of the congregate shelter and scattered site units
Ensure safe and sanitary conditions throughout the facility
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
Utilize appropriate equipment for cleaning and sanitizing kitchen and bathroom areas
Report to the congregate shelter coordinator and shelter director for scattered site units
