Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent desired
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions
  • Availability to work various shifts including weekends
  • Basic physical ability to perform housekeeping tasks
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent desired
  • Housekeeping experience in a health care setting is desired
  • Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Good communication skills

Job Duties

  • Perform day-to-day housekeeping activities in accordance with health care standards
  • Ensure the community is maintained clean, safe and comfortable
  • Follow federal, state and local regulations governing long-term care
  • Work under the direction of the department director or supervisor
  • Create a home-like atmosphere through person-centered care
  • Support resident-centered values by prioritizing resident needs
  • Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas
