Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to follow instructions and learn cleaning protocols
- physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including standing, bending, and lifting
- willingness to undergo background check
- commitment to compliance with company policies
- ability to attend scheduled training and meetings
Job Qualifications
- demonstrate ability to utilize supplies, tools and equipment properly after initial training
- commitment and adherence to UHS's Compliance Program and Code of Conduct
- ability to comply with all policies and procedures
- attendance at required training
- immediate reporting of suspected compliance issues to the Compliance Officer
- ability to work effectively as part of a team
- good communication skills
- attention to detail
- prior experience in a cleaning or environmental services role is preferred but not mandatory
Job Duties
- perform daily cleaning tasks for patient and resident rooms
- nursing station
- lounges
- educational facilities
- restrooms
- office
- clinic areas
- any other areas assigned in accordance with standard procedures of the Environmental Services
- adhere to facility standards and objectives
- utilize supplies, tools and equipment properly after initial training
- report suspected compliance issues immediately to the Compliance Officer
- attend required training sessions
- maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene according to facility guidelines
- follow established safety protocols to prevent infections and accidents
