Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in housekeeping or a related field desirable
- Ability to understand and follow instructions
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks
- Reliable transportation for commuting
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to pass background checks and health screenings
- Willingness to participate in training and development
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively

Job Duties
- Follow established cleaning schedule
- Complete daily dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of all common areas
- Follow established schedule for deep cleaning of resident rooms
- Clean administrative offices as scheduled
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms
- Clean carpets and mop all floors upon request
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for all residents
- Ensure and support a dignified and caring atmosphere for residents, families, visitors, and associates
- Respond promptly and courteously to resident, family, and visitor requests for assistance
- Interact with residents showing empathy, kindness, compassion, and respect
- Communicate effectively in a language that each resident understands
- Maintain a safe and secure working environment free from hazards
- Practice good body mechanics and safe working habits
- Observe and report safety hazards immediately to supervisor
- Provide assistance to associates when requested
- Know and follow emergency policies and procedures
- Report or remain at community during emergencies as required
- Work as a team player with associates and management
- Demonstrate a positive and respectful attitude about work issues
- Comply with attendance and call-off policies
- Attend trainings, in-service, and mandatory meetings
- Wear clean and appropriate dress per policy
- Refrain from discussing resident issues with family and refer inquiries to nursing supervisor
- Comply with HIPAA regulations
- Provide hands-on assistance to nursing staff when needed
- Participate in resident leisure activities
- Assist residents in dining room during meals
- Take on special projects or assignments willingly
- Perform all other reasonable duties as assigned
