Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in housekeeping or related role
- ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods
- knowledge of cleaning and disinfecting procedures
- leadership ability
- attention to detail
- ability to maintain confidentiality
- willingness to attend scheduled meetings
- understanding of fire and emergency procedures

Job Duties
- efficiently and effectively clean resident apartments including taking out garbage sweeping vacuuming and or mopping cleaning and disinfecting surfaces changing linens sorting washing and putting away laundry
- assist with resident transfer to another room if needed while apartment is being cleaned
- efficiently and effectively clean restrooms and other common areas of the community
- ensure chemicals are marked appropriately and locked away when not in use
- lead housekeeper leads and guides other housekeepers and is responsible for quality control
- practice basic infection control with linens hand washing and in all other aspects of delivery of resident care
- attend mandatory meetings as scheduled by executive director
- maintain confidentiality of resident community employee and company information
- maintain working knowledge of fire and disaster plans and responsibilities under emergency conditions
- perform other duties as assigned
