Job Requirements
- Maintain a safe and clean work area
- Notify supervisor or manager of supplies as needed
- Report all maintenance issues to the AYS department or manager ASAP
- Be hospitable to our guests and to associates
- Maintain a positive attitude
- Maintain a high degree of coverage in public areas and restrooms during peak times
- Maintain a high degree of cleanliness and service to our guests
- Be available to handle situations which may develop requiring immediate attention
- Maintain a spotless environment in all public areas
- Bring down all lost and found items properly labeled with room number and date daily
Job Qualifications
- Willing to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Able to stand or be on feet for long periods of time
- Must be a self-starter and able to work with minimum supervision
- Able to lift and bend without difficulty
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Clean assigned rooms
- Attend daily meetings
- Pick up laundry cart from laundry room (use correct cleaning chemicals)
- Keep cart organized and clean
- Make sure rooms are clean and complete according to the inspectors checklist
- Change bedding, dust, replace amenities, and vacuum each assigned room
- Clean bathroom and sink area, replace dirty linen
