Job Requirements
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have experience in cleaning roles, preferably in health club environments
- Ability to work evening shifts with some schedule flexibility
- Must be physically capable of performing cleaning duties including lifting items up to 50 pounds
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Must understand and comply with safety standards for chemical use
- Ability to engage and assist fitness facility members
- Must be able to work both independently and collaboratively
Job Qualifications
- Creative and inventive in developing ways to make job more efficient
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Knowledge of proper use of chemicals and cleaning materials
- Physical ability to lift and carry laundry baskets and buckets with liquid and shift furniture
- Punctual, thorough and strong work ethic
- Experience in cleaning required, health club experience preferred
Job Duties
- Provide superior service experience for members and guests
- Follow schedule/checklist as closely as possible but stay flexible to variances
- Record the times that tasks are completed
- Clean, dust, and mop entire facility including exercise equipment
- Manage laundry facilities including washing, drying, and folding towels
- Take ownership of areas of responsibility including clean-up and maintenance of equipment
- Attend department meetings as scheduled
- Use appropriate chemicals approved and designated for use within location
- Perform other duties as assigned
