Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Entry level position with on-the-job training provided
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Willingness to adhere to Acts Retirement-Life Communities policies and procedures including background screening
- Must comply with Florida's Care Provider Background Screening process
- Eligibility to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or floor care is a plus but not required
- Ability to learn and operate cleaning machinery safely
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good physical stamina for performing repetitive cleaning tasks
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Basic communication skills for reporting and coordination
Job Duties
- Perform daily cleaning of assigned areas including floors and surfaces
- Use floor cleaning equipment such as 20 inch rotos, high speed burnishers, and automatic floor machines
- Conduct major floor refinishing and periodic deep cleaning as scheduled
- Operate commercial vacuums and use 24 oz. wet mops efficiently
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in good working condition
- Follow health and safety protocols and community standards
- Collaborate with team members and management to ensure cleanliness standards
