Job Requirements
- Must have one year of work experience in a hospitality environment
- Experience using carpet shampoo and floor waxing machines
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
- Ability to work safely with cleaning chemicals and tolerate chemical fumes, dust, and pet dander
- Physical capability to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl frequently
- Occasionally lift or move up to 30 pounds and push or pull up to 100 pounds
- Must be available to work varied shifts as assigned
- Must comply with company policies and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- One year of work experience in a hospitality environment such as hotel, country club, or resort preferred
- Experience using carpet shampoo and floor waxing machines
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English with residents, families, guests, and associates
- Ability to work safely with cleaning chemicals and exposure to chemical fumes, dust, and pet dander
- Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl regularly
- Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 30 pounds and push or pull up to 100 pounds
Job Duties
- Operate carpet shampoo and floor waxing machines to maintain clean floors throughout the community
- Clean and sanitize residences and contents including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning kitchen and bath fixtures, turning mattresses, moving light furniture, emptying trash receptacles
- Perform other cleaning duties for resident apartments, offices, bathrooms, and other common areas in the community
- Assist with cleaning and refurbishing vacated residences as they become vacant
- Keep housekeeping carts clean and organized
- Keep carts stocked with appropriate cleaning supplies in OSHA-approved containers
- Perform all other duties as assigned
