Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
- ability to safely operate cleaning machinery
- ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- ability to work Sunday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- reliable and punctual
- commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in carpet care and floor finishing techniques preferred
- ability to safely operate carpet care equipment and hard floor care equipment
- strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- ability to work both independently and as a contributing team member
- good communication skills
- basic understanding of safety procedures related to cleaning equipment
Job Duties
- Maintain hard floor surfaces including scrubbing, mopping, burnishing, stripping, and waxing
- maintain carpeted surfaces including extracting, interim cleaning, spotting, drying, and vacuuming
- utilize work orders to ensure proper room and furniture setups
- remove trash including refuse and recycling
- set up rooms for events as required
- operate carpet care and hard floor equipment safely
- contribute as an independent and team player to cleanliness and hygiene standards
